Mel Gibson Poster Defaced, Eric Loses Faith in Humanity
Someone in Tribeca is not a very big fan of Mel Gibson. I know, I didn’t think that was possible either. Shockingly, an Edge of Darkness poster at the Canal St subway station has been vandalized at least twice over the past month, presumably by the same person. A few weeks ago, I noticed that someone had colored in Mel’s eyes blood red and wrote “Evil Racist” next to his face. After that poster was replaced, the vandal struck again, altering the poster to its current state as shown below. I’m not 100% sure as to this vandal’s motivation, but if I had to guess I’d say he or she is still angry over Lethal Weapon 4.
Knowing that Eric’s love for Mel Gibson knows no bounds, I knew he would see this as nothing short of an attack. Sure enough, to prevent any further damage to the Gibson name, he’s vowed to stand guard over the new poster, armed with nothing but his cunning and a copy of The Man Without a Face.
