We married off our lovable drummer John last month, and in typical TIP fashion, Chad served as the officiant, best man and guest drummer. We also sat in to play a few tunes once the everyone was good and hammered (mostly Eric). Check out Chad’s best man speech below. Congrats John and Allison! JTT’s Set: […]
First it was Todd. Then Mad Dog and Chad. Now Eric. Each time one of us gets married, the rest of the band apparently thinks it’s ok to shoot guns (Eric’s), light things on fire (Mad Dog’s) and fall through glass windows (Todd’s). The great news was that we were able to get the original […]
Finally getting around to posting some photos from a wedding that Just the Tip played this summer in Baltimore. Such an amazing time. I can honestly say this is the only wedding we’ve playing where the bride was crowd surfing. Congrats to Andrew and Rachel!
We hit the studio again this past week to knock out another four-track demo. Chad is currently mixing up the tracks, which sounded pretty damn nice even as rough cuts. We did some Bob Seger, Black Crowes, Petty, and a few others. Stay tuned – we’ll have the the final versions ready in another week […]
Finally getting around to posting some pics of Chad’s epic wedding in St Lucia this past February. Appearances were made by Just the Tip Legends Mad Dog and Todd, and Fightmaster was en-route but was turned away at the airport due to a bum passport. But we raged on without him. Congrats to Chad and […]
The locale chosen for Chad’s bachelor party was none other than the great state of Florida: the land of Deadbeat Dads and high-school teachers who sleep with their students. Luckily we seemed to blend right in. Unfortunately, I can’t break guy code and advertise what happened down there, but here are two quick picture highlights. […]
That’s right, we’re better than you. Last month, the Tip played a charity gig to support the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I’m not sure what they do exactly, but I think it involves Eastern European sex trafficking. They’re against it. Anyway, we turned in a pretty solid performance with a little karma boost to […]
It was Fighty’s last night in NYC, and once again Chad and I found ourselves riding around atop an NYC Tourist Bus, though this time everyone had their clothes on. We made a brief stop a Phebe’s (site of the original Delange-a-thon) before going to some place in the Village that had sod for carpet. […]
It only took a year, but we were finally able to scare up a few videos from our epic Gramercy Theatre show last May. These were recently rescued from the bowels of someone’s BlackBerry. The quality isn’t great but it’s still a little slice of JTT nostalgia. Enjoy! Jealous Again
These are a few still images from our forthcoming Booze Cruise Documentary. Stay tuned for more info on that.
