Check out the Kings of Leon pic in the previous post and then this over-the-top stage setup from the ACDC at the Garden back in November. Behind that blowup doll’s massive boobs was a gigantic Back to the Future III style freight train and like 20 cannons. As far as I’m concerned, the 80’s were […]
Kings of Leon put on a solid show last night at the Garden and this picture really doesn’t do them justice. I don’t know what the hell was happening with my cell phone camera last night. Anyway, they’re a talented group and definitely worth checking out. Big ups to Abrams and Mirshak for hooking me […]
EI……E…I…..OOOOOOOOOOOOOO……..ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ…… Just the Tip’s Chief of Security was so partied out after our last show that he could barely eat his porkroll-egg-and-cheese/giant waffle combo from the local diner. Good news for me, cause I definitely ate it the next day.
…to the abandoned, crime-riddled street in Hoboken where we park it. The short ride from the mechanic to my apartment was enough to saturate my clothing with exhaust fumes, which means the TIP van is back to running as normal.
This winter has been so unbearably cold that Fighty has now resorted to wearing a scarf during band practice. Todd was also rocking a mock turtleneck last week, though I’m not sure that was weather related…
In true JTT fashion and right on the heels of Friday’s awesome MJ’s show, the band wakes up early to hit the saloon. Tino, Ryan and I hit the bars good and hard in the AM. Thats right, the copious amounts of booze we slugged down the night before had little affect on Saturday’s festivities…skip […]
Ryan and I had an awesome and inspiring time at last night’s killers show. Those guys are so effing good. The show was musically spot on and damn entertaining. They played all the hits and really brought the house down with a “When You Were Young” closer. I’m now voting we drop the whole cover […]
I watched one of the latest offerings from Nick Cage last night and his hair helmet has now become a total distraction for me, bordering on obsession. Forget the fact that his hair is now darker than it was 10 years ago, or that he’s got the Flowbee-meets-Spaceballs helmet head – the luster is what […]
The TIP van has a blown engine control module and will require $500 to fix. Considering we only paid $750 for the van when we bought it on eBay, this is an outrageous sum of money. Stand by for more updates as our mechanic dives deeper into this rat’s nest.
We had a blast last night rocking with you fine people. The show was a huge success. We had all the key ingredients: flat beer, surly bartenders, great tunes, a leaking stained roof and an unusable ladies bathroom. Thanks for coming out and helping us class up the place.
